How do I become a patient at Surrideo Orthodontics?
You do not need a referral to become a patient at Surrideo Orthodontics. Feel free to contact us any time, and we can set up an initial consultation to get you started.
That being said, we'd be happy to accept a referral! Your family dentist can help with a recommendation and with more information about your general dental health background. -

What are the common conditions treated by orthodontics?
Orthodontic treatment can correct a variety of bite and alignment issues. Some common conditions include:
- Overbite / Underbite – When the upper or lower teeth extend too far, affecting bite function.
- Spacing – Gaps between teeth caused by missing teeth or natural spacing.
- Protrusion – Upper front teeth that stick out more than normal.
- Crowding – Not enough room in the jaw, causing teeth to overlap.
- Crossbite – Upper and lower teeth don’t line up properly when biting.
- Midline Mismatch – The centre lines of the upper and lower teeth don’t align.

What will happen during my first appointment?
During your first appointment at our Calgary orthodontic clinic, we will conduct a thorough examination, including imaging, of your mouth and jaw to diagnose the nature and severity of your misalignment.
From there, we will develop a treatment plan to address it.
